Australia has defeated Germany at the Basketball worlds 78-43. Surprised there has been so little media coverage about the championship. The Boomers have only lost two games in the past thirteen.

    If Australians are (for the most part) apathetic about their national elections, did you really think that the basketball team would get any coverage? Australian basketball ranks around the same level as the Australian Soccer A-League.

    i am only providing a community service. i speculate it has more to do with the general decline of australian sporting success under gillard-rudd than howard.

    Did you also note that the Wallaroos won a place in the World Cup semi-finals with a 62 – 0 win over South Africa last Saturday? No I didn’t think so!
