One Nation = Greens

I wrote way back in 2008 that the Greens are the ALP’s One Nation political party. I repeated this again in Juneof this year. I have also been critical of the free pass the media have been giving the Greens for so many years and the shameful way the ALP have embraced through preference deals Green extremists. Consider that One Nation have so far over 22,000 votes, potentially enough to give the Coalition a majority of seats. The same can’t be said of the ALP-Greens relationship. Finally someone in the MSM has picked up on the issue – Andrew Bolt:

The Greens at their cuddliest represent a love of green spaces and a fear that life is too jam-packed with people, obligations, meanness, concrete and even foreigners. In many ways, it’s the One Nation of the middle class….Labor needs to marginalise such extremists and to woo the more reasonable before it loses even more of its power.

With the Greens people come second. They want less economic growth, less wealth, a lower standard of living with fewer Australians to endure it. Whose fair are the Greens advancing?
