This is highly amusing! Geologically, we are coming off the back of an ice age so the earth is warming up, which most people don't seem to realise. This is attributed to the Greenhouse Effect which is a natural phenomenon, however thats not to say we aren't contributing, a phenomenon called the Enhanced Greenhouse Effect. Now I myself have no Science degree but I did do high level HSC Geography and this was a pretty important aspect of it. The most important thing I took out of it was that everyone who claims the world will end in 50 years is a wingnut, a large portion of claims are unsubstantiated and well over exaggerated, and that its not all our fault.
